Star Communications is participating in the Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship program in 2019. Each year, the Foundation for Rural Service offers an annual college scholarship program and awards one-time $2,500 scholarships in different regions of the United States to students from rural America to assist with their first year of college, university of vocational-technical school.
The applicant’s home must receive one of Star Communications services and the students must provide proof.
For more information or to obtain an application, go to http://www.frs.org. All applications must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2019; however, the application must be returned to Star Communications for the signature of the Star Telephone General Manager. Therefore, all applications must be received at Star Communications Main Office located at 3900 N. US 421 Hwy. in Clinton (P.O. Box 348, Clinton, NC 28329) no later than Monday, February 18, 2019.
