Trillium Health Resources is excited to announce the opening of an inclusive playground in Bladen County. This new addition is part of our Play Together Accessible Playground grants program, which has already brought 31 playgrounds to our region since 2015.

The playground is designed to cater to children and adults of all abilities, featuring a rubber surface for smooth wheelchair and assistive device access, ramps for slides and other elements, and equipment specifically designed for those with sensory issues.

To support the construction of this inclusive playground, Trillium provided a generous grant of $500,000 to the Bladen County Parks and Recreation department.

Everyone is invited to join the grand opening event, hosted by Trillium and Bladen County, rain or shine. The event will take place on Thursday, July 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 172 Doug Evans Rd., Clarkton, NC. Staff from Trillium and Bladen County, board members, and the general public are all welcome to attend this exciting occasion.
