This solemn and meaningful ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 17, 2024, starting at 8:00 a.m.Held at 299 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown, North Carolina, this memorial service allows our community to come together and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed in the line of duty. It is a time to honor the memory of those peace officers who have given their lives to protect and serve our community.The Peace Officer Memorial Service is an event that allows us to remember the courage, dedication, and selflessness law enforcement officers exhibited daily. It is a chance to express our gratitude and appreciation for their unwavering commitment to upholding the law, ensuring public safety, and preserving the peace in Bladen County.In the unfortunate event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be relocated to Foundation Church, situated at 909 S. Poplar St, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. This ensures that rain or shine, we will come together as a community to remember and honor our fallen heroes.This memorial service is not only a time for reflection and remembrance but also an opportunity for unity and support.
