East Bladen High School is a shelter open for Bladen County residents and others needing to take refuge. The school is serving hot meals on Tuesday and offering a warm place to rest. At noon today the shelter had about twenty to thirty people taking advantage of the rest stop and meal.
According to one shelter worker more Bladen County residents are expected to be brought in from flooding waters in Kelly. The school will be open for those in need of shelter.
