Stores and gas stations in the town of Elizabethtown are beginning to re-open for those who are in need of supplies following Hurricane Florence, according to Lt. Mark McMichael with the Elizabethtown Police Department. They are as follows.
Gas Stations:
*The Minute Man at West Broad Street and Peanut Road is open and accepting cash and debit/credit cards.
*The Sunoco Station on South Poplar Street beside the McDonalds is open and accepting cash or debit/credit cards.
*The GoGas station has just received a fuel shipment and cash only. They have both diesel and regular gas.
*The Happy Mart on West Broad Street is open and accepting cash only.
Grocery Stores:
The Food Lion in Elizabethtown is open and fully operational.
Fresh Foods of Elizabethown has reopened.
Retail Stores:
Walmart in Elizabethtown is open and fully operational.
Restaurants:
Giorgios has reopened and many of the fast food restaurants have re-opened.
On Tuesday afternoon, more stores were beginning to re-open.
