The Mother County Genealogical Society will meet in the Bladenboro Historical Society Building at 818 South Main Street, Bladenboro, NC, on Saturday, October 8th, at 12:30. The program speaker will be Henry Singletary. He will talk about how Singletary families got to Bladen County. Also, there will be discussion about a mistake on the Bladenboro website about Bladen County’s namesake, Martin Bladen. All with an interest in genealogy are welcome.
