Currie, NC- Due to the threat of inclement weather this weekend, the park has made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday’s Candlelight tour. At this point there are no plans to reschedule the event. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The park does invite you to join us for our first Saturday event in December entitled, “Christmas in the Colonies.” Volunteers will be providing demonstrations about how citizens in the colonies celebrated Christmas. Demonstrations will include candlemaking, cooking, toys and games, and a lot more. The event will take place on Saturday December 7, 2019 from 10 am until 3 pm at the park.
