The Mother County Genealogical Society will meet Saturday, August 10th, from 12-2 pm at the Bladenboro Historical Society Building, 818 South Main Street, Bladenboro, NC. Anyone with an interest in history and genealogy is welcome.
The Program Speaker will be Yvonne Council.
This program will be Part 2 of a program on cleaning and repairing gravestones and reclaiming cemeteries. Yvonne Council’s presentation will be on the data collection while working in cemeteries. It will include recommendations for keeping data on what was done to the monuments in addition to information detailing records for the memorials.
