The North Carolina Department of Transportation has announced the following road openings and closings.
OPENINGS:
White-McEwen Road
White-McEwen Road is open near Clarkton heading West end time is expected to be June 13, 2018.
CLOSINGS:
Center Road
Center Road is closed with a posted detour in both directions. Road is closed for bridge construction and miscellaneous roadway work. Is expected to be closed until July 3, 2018.
Mercer Mill
Mercer Mill Road was closed Monday, February 26th, to replace Bridge 32 and is anticipated to remain for 120 days. It is located just North of the Rosindale Road intersection. It is currently posed at 5 tons.
ELWELL FERRY:
Is operating as normal as of June 14, 2018.
