The North Carolina Department of Transportation has issued an updated listing of road closings in Bladen County. They are as follows:
NC53 (Near White Oak)
NC53 W is closed toward White Oak for a bridge replacement at Ellis Creek. A signed detour is in place. This will remain closed for several weeks.
SR1124 (Singletary Mill Pond Road)
SR1124 Singletary Mill Pond Road is closed in both directions due to bridge approach failure. There is no estimated time when this road will reopen.
SR1509 (Johnsontown Road)
SR1509 Johnsontown Road is closed at Bridge 169 located east of N242 due to approach failure caused by floodwaters. Bridge is being replaced. Use NC242 to SR1511 (Sweet Home Church Road) to SR1510 (Bladen Lakes School Road).

Lane shift for shoulder closure and to move southbound traffic to northbound bridge for the purpose of debris removal from under the southbound Cape Fear River bridge. 11′ lane restriction is in place in this section. Contractor to remove debris.
SR1704 (Airport Road)
SR1704 Airport Road will be closing starting Monday, January 14, 2018 at 8:00 am thru Friday, February 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm. This will be closed for cross line repair. 0.32 Mi. N of SR1707 (Gibson Dairy Road) and 0.40 Mi. N. of SR1709 (Coley Road) and 0.08 Mi. N of SR1709 (Coley Road)
NC11
NC11 both directions West of Kelly will be closed starting Tuesday, January 22, 2019 thru February 22, 2019. This will be closing 0.2 miles north of SR1539 (Natmore Road). Road will be closed 24 hours a day during duration of project. This is closed for pipe replacement. There will be a signed detour Bladen County: SR1539 (Natmore Road) to Pender County: SR1105 (Sykes Town Rd) to SR1104 (Cain Tuck Rd) to Bladen County: SR1545 (Cain Tuck Road) to NC11
