The North Carolina Department of Transportation has released an update on road closures for Bladen County.
CLOSED:
SR1003 (Twisted Hickory Road)
SR1003 (Twisted Hickory Road) is closing Monday, April 17, 2023, due to cross line repair. It will close Monday, April 17, through Friday, April 28, 2023.
SR1745 (Baltimore Road)
SR1745 (Baltimore Road) is closed as of April 19, 2023, at NC87 due to crossline repair. The road will be scheduled to reopen on May 3, 2023.
US Highway 701N
Both lanes of the North Bound US Highway 701 over the Cape Fear River are closed. Traffic will be rerouted to the Southbound lanes. The closure has a WIDE LOAD TRAFFIC RESTRICTION.
ELWELL FERRY
The ferry is closed due to high water through Friday, 21, 2023.
