A familiar business in Elizabethtown is getting a new owner and new name.  The business will be called Bladen Express Lube and Tire and it will be located on 104 Peanut Plant Road in Elizabethtown near Walmart.

The business is in the location of the former Shell Lube and it will be owned by Scott Gordon. The hours of operation for the Bladen Express Lube and Tire will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The business will be closed on Sunday.

Gordon said their services will include oil changes, brakes, tire changes, and car inspections.

The reason for opening a business in Elizabethtown, said Gordon, “Because of the outcry of people in Elizabethtown wanting better help with their vehicles and better prices.” He explained this is why he is leasing the facility.

Gordon is no stranger to running his own business. He currently operates another business called Bladen Offroad in Bladenboro. Gordon has owned that business since November 21, 2016.

Gordon has plans for a ribbon cutting but no date has been announced.
