In defiance of the weather forecast, this year’s North Carolina Grape Festival at Lu Mil Vineyard drew an impressive crowd. Food and craft vendors, offering a diverse range of delectable treats and unique merchandise, created a lively atmosphere despite light showers.

Barbara Hall, capturing the sentiment of many attendees, exclaimed, “It was awesome, just light showers, but an overall AWESOME event.” The resilience of the festival-goers mirrored the spirit of the event itself.

Adding a melodious touch to the festival, The Tams took the stage, leaving attendees like Carla Hunt raving about the great music. “I really enjoyed seeing them,” she shared, encapsulating the positive vibes resonating throughout the venue.

Lu Mil Vineyard expressed gratitude on social media, saying, “THANK YOU, THANK YOU & THANK YOU, to all who attended today’s NC Grape Festival!!!…”

Local radio station WKML also joined the celebration, announcing ticket winners on their Facebook page. Winners, including Chris Meggs (VIP Experience Qualifier), Allison Kirby, Heather Provencio, and more, earned tickets to the upcoming Stars & Guitars event. The announcement added an extra layer of excitement for these fortunate festival attendees.
