The media is invited to join myFutureNC’s second annual State of Educational Attainment in North Carolina event at Richmond Community College on February 15, 2024.

HAMLET, NC –  myFutureNC will host top government, education, business, and nonprofit leaders across North Carolina at its Sandhills convening, one of eight simultaneous regional convenings, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, for The State of Educational Attainment in North Carolina.

myFutureNC will unveil state-level data and share an update on the progress toward reaching the state’s educational attainment goal of two million degrees or industry-valued credentials by 2030.

The North Carolina Department of Commerce will also share and analyze regional workforce data for local stakeholders to discuss and identify potential next steps forward to uniquely address the urgent need for skilled workers in their region of the state. In advance of the event, we encourage you to review the most current 2022 County Attainment Profiles and 2022 State of Educational Attainment Report.
