Jean Sealey Gibson, age 75, of Calabash passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, at her home. She was born in Fairmont on May 20, 1947, to the late Morris Sealey and Hilda Atkinson Sealey. She was preceded in death by parents, her son Parker Bridger, brother Robert (Bobby) Sealey and brother-in-laws Tommy Gibson and Joe LeBlanc.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband John A Gibson, sisters Patsy S LeBlanc of Whiteville, Dottie S Foti and husband Mark of Woodside, CA, Mary Ruth S Cox and husband Steve of Bladenboro, stepchildren Allen Gibson and wife Dana of Hickory, Michelle Gibson of Newton, Jonathan Gibson and wife Ashley of Charlotte, Shauna Bevins and husband Tim of Austin, TX, thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Society or Waterbrook Community Church, 2310 Hwy 9 E, Longs, SC 29568
