Thoughts While Shaving

What do you do when you can’t sleep?  How many sheep are there?

Today should be another hot day with 90 plus degree temps and a heat index of 100-plus.

Speaking of weather, how about a ‘kewl’ thought.  Our first frost is just about 3 months away, usually arrives between the 21st and 31st of October.

Can’t think of anything better than to hear from a friend you no longer see or hear from on a regular basis.  May come in the form of a surprise visit, call, text or however you communicate.

Cancer is a horrible disease, pray for all, especially Sen. John McCain.  Love or dislike him, he is an American hero, long-time US Senator and former POW.  He is just one of millions suffering from the dreaded disease.

Need some stability in DC!  Not sure who will step up.  We appear to be paying many too much.

There must be something someone can do to stop telemarketers from calling all times of the day and night.

Registration for November municipal elections is over and 6 of 7 local towns have a full slate, Tar Heel being the exception, but only one town commissioner short.  Write-ins will determine the third slot.  Biggest surprise, long-time Dublin Mayor Horace Wyatt does not file for re-election.  He has done a good job over the years and deserves a break.
