Paratrooper at white lake

WHITE LAKE – A United States Army paratrooper dangled from a tree on Thursday, June 23, after gusty winds pushed him approximately 300 yards north from the intended target in White Lake, and into the yard of Tim and Cathy Kinlaw.  The photograph was captured by paratrooper Kirk Brinker, who was also blown away from the lake. Brinker maneuvered his parachute across the Kinlaw’s yard and into a clearing across the street. Neither soldier was injured.
