Christopher L. Williams, Director Bladen County Board of Elections, announced a resolution to move the central precinct from the Shriner’s Building to Jones Lake State Park was made by the board of elections. The effective date of the resolution is January 11, 2022.
North Carolina General Statute, 163-128, provides the county board of elections the power to establish and/or discontinue election precincts or voting places as deemed necessary. Therefore, Louella P. Thompson, Chairperson of the Bladen County Board of Elections, signed the resolution today, moving the precinct from the Shriners’ Building at 2016 NC 242 Hwy North in Elizabethtown to Jones Lake State Park located at 4117 NC-242 N in Elizabethtown.
