The family of a shooting victim is offering a $6,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Montise Arman Mitchell. Deputies have a warrant charging Mitchell, 24, of 27 Charlie McMillan Circle, St. Pauls, with first-degree murder.
Mitchell is being sought in connection with the shooting death of Darrell Dionte Council of Tar Heel. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Twisted Hickory Road and Center Road on Sunday, Nov. 8, at about 8:30 p.m.
The reward is being offered by Council’s family for any information that will lead to an arrest in the case, according to Kayla Harvey. The reward will only be given in the event of an actual arrest.
The family is asking that anyone with any information that will lead to an arrest to contact Detective Morgan Johnson of the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office at 910-862-6960 or 910-862-6753 or by calling 911.
