Ribbon cutting held for Bladenboro business

A ribbon cutting was held on Thursday morning at Down East Pest Control in Bladenboro. The well attended event included a barbecue lunch and free cups, fly swatters and other items.

Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dawn Maynard welcomed the company to the town and also welcomed them as a new Chamber member.

Down East Pest Control is owned by Jeremy Dowless. He was joined by his family and members of the community for the ribbon cutting. He thanked everyone in attendance for their support.

“I want to thank everyone for coming out in support of our business. Our number one goal is to have good quality service at a fair price,” said Dowless.
