Rosindale Road has re-opened after being closed due to damage from Hurricane Matthew. The road re-opened on Thursday afternoon following repairs to a washout that ocurred during the storm.
The washout was the location of a tragic accident that claimed the lives of 44-year-old Shawn Dell Kemp and 22-year-old Juwan Roladno McCoy. The crash ocurred during the storm when the driver of the car they were riding in collided with the washout and was swept out of the road by flood waters.
At the height of the storm, almost every roadway in Bladen County suffered some type of damage as a result of the storm.
