1. Just learned the third Sunday in September is Wife Appreciation Day. It’s a day for men to let their wives know just how much they appreciate the things they do all year long. Guess what, guys? Today is the third Sunday in September.
2. There’s a couple of government meetings on tap Monday. Dublin is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. at Town Hall. Bladen commissioners are set to meet at 6:30 p.m. at the courthouse.
3. What are your favorite pizza toppings? Some of the popular toppings in Japan, according to Pizza.com, are squid and Mayo Jaga, which is mayonnaise, potato and bacon. Uh, let’s stick with pepperoni.
