Miss Heavyn Armani Smith of Elizabethtown, daughter of Miss Carla D. Smith and granddaughter of Reverend Carl A. and Jewell L. Smith, was crowned Miss Preteen Fayetteville State University 2017-2018, on Saturday night, September 23rd, on the campus of Fayetteville State University in the Rosenthal Building. Heavyn competed against another young lady in her age category and was crowned winner.
Heavyn is a 6th grader at Elizabethtown Middle School. “The crown came back to Elizabethtown.” Last year’s 2016-2017 winner was Miss Necole McDowell of Elizabethtown, daughter of Reginald and Kendra McDowell and granddaughter of Mr. Lorenzo McDowell and Carolyn Trumilla McDowell.
The pageant was sponsored by the Cumberland County Chapter of Fayetteville State University’s National Alumni Association.
