Thoughts While ShavingIt’s Saturday….and it is a busy day for many……lots of activities in the area…Hopefully, any bad weather will be delayed til all of today’s events are completed…..

Cape Fear Chicken & BBQ has reportedly leased the space at the Cape Fear Farmers Market vacated recently by Inman’s Deli & Meat Market.  Cape Fear will use the space as a facility to support their other locations in the region.
 
Looking ahead, Bladen County native Kenneth Brown will be at the Senior Center Monday for a book signing of his new book: Me, Myself & Multiple Sclerosis.  The cost of the book is $10.61 tax included and the hours are from 11 a.m. til 6 p.m.
 
The Annual Jail-A-Thon will be held Wednesday…A fun event that raises money for our schools…David Wall, local attorney, works hard to carry on annually.

We have so many good eating places in the area….Will be happy when our White Lake residents return….to enjoy the food and support those in the restaurant business….
 
Our sports page is loaded with events in the area….John Clark is Bladen’s best bet for local sports news…and he has been doing it for a long, long time…A young man with years of local experience….
