The Harmony Hall Plantation Village near White Oak is ready for Christmas and all are invited on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
The Bladen County Library is hosting “Snacks with Mrs. Santa” program Saturday. Call to register at 862-6990.
Learn about the geological mysteries of the Carolina Bays Saturday at Jones Lake. It’s free to all. Call 588-4550 for details.

I enjoy “plundering” through old records related to Little League players from years ago, wonder where they are and what they are doing. Not sure of the year, must have been in the mid-70s….either the Giants or Cardinals….

The list was to ‘jog my memory’ for those who had provided a birth certificate, parent permission forms, uniform size and they were listed by age (9-12).
If it was 1975 and they were 10 years old at the time, they would be in the range of 50 years old. See a few on a regular basis, some occasionally and some…I never see, If I do, I don’t recognize them.
