How about the Wolfpack and the Tar Heels men’s basketball teams?….both winners yesterday….Wolfpack upset Villanova in Pittsburgh and UNC’s Tar Heels defeated Arkansas in Jacksonville, Florida.
Today, Duke plays San Diego in Charlotte….on CBS.
ACC has fared well so far…I know, there are other teams/games but big news when 2 of the 3 local teams reaches the “sweet 16″ and another bids for a spot today….”Exciting” is the word…
Church day….may need an umbrella….but no reason to not be there or complain….yesterday was a good day, weatherwise.
Bobby Roberts, a former county commissioner, tax collector, farmer/businessman died late Friday night, according to his family.  He had been very sick for a long time. Family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home and funeral services will be held Monday at Bethel Baptist Church at 3 p.m. and burial will follow.  Roberts served in public office primarily in the 1970’s.
Bladenboro folks had another successful fundraiser for 5 of their own yesterday….all suffering from cancer…Do unto others……Lord forgive us when we forget or fail to do…
Thanks for your continued support for BladenOnline…Our goal is to serve Bladen County folks with news they can use…no more and no less…
