Bladen County Commissioners meet at 6:30 p.m. today, same place and same time; Bladen County Courthouse at 6:30 p.m. Meeting open to the public, and Bladenboro Town Council meets at 7 p.m. for regular monthly meeting, numerous issues on the agenda and the public is welcomed.
Wish I would win the lottery. So many local people ‘hurting’ physically, financially, etc. I have not worked out the details. Think what could be done with $100 million….just dreamin’, smile!
Remember listening to farmers over the years, some very successful, some not so successful, sitting around a wood fired heater in any number of rural country stores throughout the county, sharing ‘tall tales’. One I remember was, “if I had all the money in the world, would use it for farming ’til it was used up.”
