Hope your Christmas Day was good. Very good for our family….Time together, sharing gifts and tales and delicious food….One couple missing, out of state visiting, and hopefully, we will be with them later this week…meanwhile, the Hester siblings will hopefully be together over the next couple of days….Enjoy making memories..
So how about your Christmas?
With many still celebrating, the weather for today should be great. Sunny, with highs in the mid to upper 50’s with a slight breeze this afternoon. Great for the youngsters with a new bike or some other gift that is enjoyed more outside and in dry weather..
Was driving late yesterday, like 5 to 6 PM. Never cease to be amazed how many drivers fail to turn on lights during the twilight time. I know, you can see the roadway, but my concern is can others see you several hundred yards down the road, meeting you. Sometimes we forget….but.
I purchase nothing online during the holiday season. No desire to be concerned about late deliveries or no deliveries, despite 97 to 98 percent delivery on time….Guess my concern is what about the 2 to 3 percent that don’t. How do you tell a 5-year-old Santa will be late when all their friends are enjoying their Christmas toys.
Be safe, our roadways will be busy over the next few days, and many travelers running late and slightly above the posted speed limit.
