Checking headlines…

President Trump says, reluctantly, it’s OK to wear mask, but he will not wear one. … Saw more mask yesterday than ever uptown … think I agree with the President at this time … not sure I will be wearing one.

Dr. Anthony Stephen Fauci, a physician and immunologist who has served as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, calls it as he sees it. … He has stated recently that ‘we are not even to halftime in the fight against coronavirus.’ Like him or not … He deals in facts … a straight shooter…

Headline on one news source reports Congressmen and Senators are warning the US Postal Service may be in trouble … had a huge fall-off in mail … Suggestion, charge full price to the politicians, like we are charged … no deductions for mail that does little but ‘clog-up’ the system…

Had a call from someone selling a warranty for a vehicle … I think … Asked for my bride, told them she was not available, Ok, was the reply, indicated the call was for any resident at this address … and I could receive the call … I thought back to my days … years and years ago at the radio station … told a little ‘white lie’, told them they had reached a radio station … and to hold on a minute … wanted to put them on the air and save them calling others in the area … dang, they hung up…

Been wanting to do that for a while … right time, right place…

Life is all about adjustments, but did not think about so many at one time.

A great time to reach out to a friend in need … remember the ‘hotspots’ throughout the county where you can use the Internet free, courtesy of Star Telephone…
