Remember, Mr. and Mrs. Tobacco Grower and all you little tobacco growers, come on down to Ole’ Fairmont for the top dollar for you tobacco crop? Charlie Stafford was the spokesperson, think his title was Sales Supervisor for the Fairmont Tobacco Market.

How about: “Looking for Moore in 64”? It was a political theme for Governor Dan Moore, in the early 60’s.
Shortly after Governor Moore’s inauguration, he visited Bladen County, was one of the speakers at the official opening (Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting) of Veedor Root, now Danaher in Elizabethtown.
Another theme from long ago, “See the USA in your Chevrolet”, remember?
And my favorite, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing (in perfect harmony)” A coke ad.
Ah, those were the days my friend, I thought they’d never end…I know, I used that recently.
Pray for the folks dealing with flooding in Louisiana and fires in California.
