Social Distancing, Zoom, Distance learning … Guess you could say we are all learning … Remember when we were busy teaching our youngsters their ABCs, math, English, science, history … I understand, still a part of the early years … but social distance concerns, distance learning on ZOOM, or some other way? Tough for students, tough on teachers, administration, our elected leaders … and yes, parents…

Our youngsters are smarter … been exposed to so much by the time they begin pre-school and grade school … still difficult…

Will be a good day when the virus is controlled and we return to a more normal lifestyle … for everyone. In the meantime, we just ‘deal with it.’

The economy is doing well, but many local, independent, owner/operators are still dealing with a stressful situation … Shop local, when possible.

I doubt there will be any high school sports, and fewer college sporting events this fall … and at the national level, some sporting events continue, but with no fans ‘on site’ … Difficult, and the continued loss of revenue will cause more concerns.

We are tough, we can do it … including holding an election … Pray for all.

Hot weather returns … 92 expected high today, 94 on Thursday with a heat index value near 104, and 92 degrees forecast for Friday’s high … 89 degrees Saturday … Better than having a hurricane…

Still the greatest nation in the world…

“Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.” Victor Hugo

“Your are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” C.S. Lewis

“Men are born to succeed, not to fail.” Henry David Thoreau
