A jam-packed few days just ahead …

High School football this evening … West Bladen plays at North Brunswick (7 p.m.) and East Bladen travels to Clinton (7:30 p.m.)

Sidewalk Sale begins today in downtown Elizabethtown … carrying on an old tradition … savings galore.

Final hurrah for many locations at White Lake … this Labor Day weekend.

One more week of early voting for the 9th Congressional District seat. Last day of early voting is a week from today … 2 locations … at the Bladen County Board of Elections office in Elizabethtown and at Tar Heel Municipal Building. … Over 900 voters have cast their ballots as of Thursday … and President Trump is coming to Fayetteville next week to support the Republican candidate. If you plan to visit the beach over the next few days, be aware of Hurricane Dorian … expected to make landfall on Florida’s east coast Monday night and turn up the east coast. … Rough surf and strengthening rip currents are expected beginning Saturday, continuing through next week. … Keep listening and watching for updates.
