Thoughts While ShavingIt’s the most wonderful time of the year … Being with family, hearing from former acquaintances that you seldom see or hear from … Get-to-gethers with family and friends … making sure all expecting a gift will not be disappointed … your gifts are wrapped … food preparation is underway … Hectic … but fun … Well, most of it is fun … and who is it we celebrate?

Are you prepared? Down to the final hours … For many older folks, a few dollars to loved ones beats the heck out of trying to shop in a crowded outlet … and I don’t know the size, our preferences…

I recall a bossman who never, ever began to shop til late Christmas Eve … He declared he could purchase much more with less money, looking for a bargain … It takes all kinds…

I’m ready … for Christmas … No boasting, I just do very little shopping…

A reminder, tonight is the last night for the Lu Mil lights tour this year…

Was with some of my siblings last evening and we shared tales from our days together, many, many years ago … most I had heard, a few new ones … I love it.

Hope you are prepared for a huge change in weather…

Mostly cloudy today through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a temperature dropping to around 30 by 5 p.m. Breezy, with a west wind 17 to 24 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph … (not a misprint) 40 mph. Clear tonight, lows near 15 degrees and windy, gusts in the 22 mph range.

Saturday, sunny with a high near 32 and more wind … Low near 17 Saturday night … Sunny, Christmas Day, with a high near 38…

Serious business … make sure family and friends are prepared as well.

What kind of money do snowmen use in the North Pole? Cold, hard cash.

What happens when someone gets very angry in cold weather? That person has a meltdown.

What kind of topping would you prefer on your dessert in the cold winter? Maybe a cake with icing.

Sorry…
