The 2021 Daytona 500 race lasted for hours and hours … Michael McDowell was the winner … He took the lead at the very end of the race. McDowell “was tracking” Penske teammates Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski on lap 200 of the 200-lap race when the teammates wrecked … and NASCAR turned on the caution lights. McDowell was ahead of Chase Elliott by a car length, giving him the lead and his first Cup Series victory in his 358th start. The top 5 were:
