I may have mentioned it before, but it’s worth repeating … Longtime high school and American Legion baseball coach Linwood Hedgepeth has been, or will be, inducted in to the NCHSAA Hall of Fame … Long overdue … Hedgepeth retired several years ago … Teams he coached were well prepared and very competitive … Bladen County youngsters participated in Legion ball … Several area players made it to the Majors … thanks to Coach Hedgepeth.
