Interesting note … According to an article in the Border Belt newspaper, serving Bladen, Columbus, Robeson and Scotland counties … Bladen and Columbus lost population while Robeson and Scotland gained … over a 3 year time period … Bladen -148 … Columbus lost 375 … Scotland gained 86 over the same time frame, while Robeson added 1,056.
