I mentioned earlier this week about a function this weekend, a fundraiser for a family going thru difficult times … Friends of David Lennon are inviting all to a fundraiser Saturday night (tomorrow) at Open Door Ministries, near the Elizabethtown airport … David Lennon is suffering from a brain-bleed. He suffered a stroke and friends of the family are holding a fundraiser for them … Begins at 5 p.m. Saturday. If you are unable to attend … send cash…
And speaking of the airport … The first class of youngsters have completed a good week, learning about airplanes … Over 40 in first class and others are looking forward to attending … Learning about flying, repairing, all types of jobs in the industry … Gonna be hearing more in days and years to come … I keep hearing the number 130 youngsters who have expressed an interest in attending … How many places where you know youngsters can go, don’t think any charge … just to learn about potential opportunities in the industry … Contact the Elizabethtown Airport for details … I may be overstepping my boundaries … Never know ’til you ask … The folks there are quality people…
Was with siblings and other family members last evening … We were out of the county, kinda rotate throughout the area … Food was delicious and there was a crowd … Appears that many are ready to get-out and move around…
