Wednesday, much better … Partly sunny, with a high near 70. High temps Thursday and Friday in the low to mid 80s. Still looking for rain? Best chance is Saturday afternoon … 40% chance…

Much attention on D.C. today … Former President Donald Trump says he is expected to be arrested, charges related to payment to a female friend…

I have no idea what will happen … Would be good if grown men and women elected to Congress could/would concentrate on the business of the nation … and stop attacking each other … both major parties…

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) fell recently and at last report was still hospitalized. He is the Senate leader, and at 81 years old and years on the job … He is being treated for a concussion … and is expected to return after rehab.

University of South Carolina ladies basketball remains undefeated (33-0). Next game is 2 p.m. Saturday when they play UCLA, 2 p.m. We can watch the game on ESPN.

Bladen County Commissioners are considering naming the bridge over the Cape Fear River after individuals who, in some cases, were killed in the line of duty or made a significant contribution to the county … Can be ‘touchy’ as others ask that more names be considered…
