Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

61 degrees at 5:15 a.m. today … Spring has arrived … Thursday is my favorite day of the week … My siblings and I, along with our spouses, get together, have been doing so for many years … Had a slight change in schedule as we dealt with the COVID-19 issue, but … Back Together Again. Wasn’t that the title to a song sometime in the past…

Weather forecast is pretty good for today … Patchy fog early, otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 80 … 80 degrees … A little windy with gusts in the 18 mph range.

Tonight, mostly cloudy, with a low around 64 and windy, in the range of 10 mph, with gust as high as 15 mph.

Changes coming Friday, a chance of showers, possibly thundershowers and a high near 84, and again, windy. Chance of rain is 30%. Possibility of rain increases over the weekend … thru Sunday night.

Thoughts on getting out a little more? Mingling with family and friends … We have been ‘couped up’ for a year … Hopefully, no more serious outbreaks of the coronavirus … We all need to use a little ‘common sense’…

Only negative I can think, right off, is it will soon be time to begin cutting grass … and weeds … Some of my neighbors have already cut theirs a time or two…

I remember my mom reminding us to ‘look out for snakes’.

“If you see a snake, just kill it – don’t appoint a committee on snakes.” Ross Perot

“When you’re a snake charmer, you’re gonna get bit.” LaVar Ball

“Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and further more always carry a small snake.” W.C. Fields
