Someone shared info related to a 1,300 foot-long ship wedged in the Suez Canal, blocking traffic both ways … An article reported 9% or almost 3 million barrels of global oil shipments per day pass thru the Canal … Lloyd’s of London estimates the blockage is costing about $400 million per hour … Think you have problems … Not sure if it has been freed or not …. Check our Sports Page for high school athletic events … John Clark has it covered…

How about the weather? Yesterday was wonderful in Bladen and surrounding counties…

Forecast for today … A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 1 and 5 pm. Mostly cloudy, high near 85. Southwest wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30% … Tonight, mostly cloudy, with a low around 60 and wind in the 5 to 9 mph range.

Saturday and Sunday a little better chance of rain, but temps remaining mild for late March…
