WOW … it rained … Rainfall totals at the Curt Brown Airport weather station totaled just a tenth or two over 1 inch … No doubt, totals will vary greatly … Last rainfall at the NWS reporting station at the local airport was at 3:55 a.m.
Hopefully everyone received, but bet there are areas with no rain…
The forecast for today is for windy, cloudy and much cooler … High temp in the upper 60s … gusts as high as 16 mph. Tonight, partly cloudy with a low near 50 degrees. Memorial Day forecast is for sunny, high near 82 and a northwest wind in the 7 mph range.
Next best chance for rain is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday … Probability is in the 30 to 60% range all three days…
As stated earlier, cool this day … plan accordingly…
Kinda got excited when the first rain began to fall last evening about 8 p.m. at our location.
Again, no reason to miss church today. Many local churches have services live, on Facebook or some other source…
We met our great-granddaugher yesterday … exciting … Parents are Brooks and Katie Hester. They reside in the Research Triangle area … Allie Rose Hester … probably the prettiest little girl ever, well in our family in recent years.
