thoughts while shaving62 degrees was high temp recorded at the local weather station yesterday … Beautiful day…

Today’s forecast is for partly sunny, with a high near 72 … Mostly cloudy tonight with a low around 54. Friday, a chance of showers after 8 a.m. with a high near 75 … 40% chance of rain…

Average high in November for this area is 66 … and average low near 45. Average rainfall is just over 3 inches.

New York Stock Exchange making a strong rebound in recent sessions … Enjoy, if you are retired and receive financial support from retirement … 401k, etc.

I have been asked to share a message related to a former Bladen County pastor couple now retired and living in the Greensboro area. Rev. and Mrs. Darrell Copeland lived in the Elizabethtown area for 3, 4, maybe 5 years. (Pastor at Wesley’s Chapel UMC) Retired and departed, moved to the Greensboro area. My info indicates Anita suffered some type medical issue over the past weekend and is in a critical condition. She supposedly suffered from asthma and was having trouble breathing, passed out and has not regained consciousness … Friends and family continue to pray for recovery … A prayer vigil was held locally earlier this week … Late updates, not good, and no Health Power of Attorney … Keep her family in your thoughts and prayers…

Rev. Copeland assisted in North Carolina and across the nation for several years promoting capital projects … raising money for renovation and construction of churches and other related facilities.

Do you have a medical power of attorney? … Neither do we, that I am aware of … Just never thought about it.

Speaking of prayer … think our nation and the world is in need of a re-start…

Check local news elsewhere on BladenOnline … Bladen County government has been ‘hacked’, for the lack of a better word … Local and outside sources assisting…

Can’t give up … must charge forward, full speed ahead…

On a light note … recently a national financial reporter was asked to compare one issue with another … Loved his response … “Like looking for the cleanest dirty shirt in a basket.”
