Been traveling a little recently, surprised at the state of many small to medium size towns….some in various stages of disarray, others where leaders obviously do a good job of keeping the town looking as if someone really does care….Realize, recent weather conditions have not been kind to many locations…..
A reminder, after all the bluster by leaders of both major political parties ‘spout off’, check FactCheck or Snopes…a site that attempts to make some sense about the state of current affairs….No idea if left leaning or right leaning…..both sides accuse the other of bias….What happened to the ‘art’ of working together for a common good, or is that a lost art? Does anyone really care?
How ’bout the individual who recently won one of the ‘big’ pots of money in the lottery, indicated he had been using the same set of numbers for over 20 years…..
As a young person, I never thought twice about traveling a long distance in a short period of time, covered all 100 counties for over 25 years in my working days…Now as a senior citizen, travel is tiring even when you have a good chauffeur.
Not complaining, I am among men most richly blessed!
