Happy Thanksgiving Day … 2019.

Turkey & dressing, collards, time with family and friends … football and parades and above all … time to give thanks for our many blessings.

For many, time to travel and with bad weather in parts of the country, some will no doubt be unable to reach their destination … on time.

Ever think back to Thanksgiving day over the years … most memorable and others? Always think of the song … “Over the river and through the woods, to grandfathers house we go.” Oh, well … time to make new memories, regardless of age.

Reminders, Elizabethtown Christmas Parade set for Sunday, December 1 at 3 p.m. Grand Marshalls are Farrell and Larrell Murchison. Oh yes … and Santa.

Filing for political offices begin early next week … and the Annual Christmas Parade in Bladenboro the following weekend.

Usual lineup of NFL games today.

Chicago Bears at Detroit … game time 12:30 p.m.
Buffalo Bills vs Cowboys … 4:30 p.m.
New Orleans Saints vs Atlanta Falcons … 8:20 p.m.

Floats and bands will participate in the 93rd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade … decision on whether the 16 large character balloons will fly or not will be decided at the last minute. The balloons cannot fly when sustained winds exceed 23 miles per hour with gusts over 34 miles per hour. Tune in.

BladenOnline has a new, permanent Elizabethtown location … and a Grand Opening will be coming soon. … More later. … The Best Is Yet To Come!!!!!!!

Hope this is your best Thanksgiving Day … ever.
