Thoughts While Shaving for September 20

Remember the tune from years gone by, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” As I begin to think, 5:15 a.m., 54 degrees at the NWS location at the nearby airport…

Should be a nice day, weatherwise, but cool … Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph…

Church day … and after another week of our political process, maybe we pray for politicians and those who are listening and watching … Not complaining, in some countries around the world, the average ‘joe’ has no role at all … at least we get to vote…

On a cold morning, such as this one, can’t help but think of the less fortunate … While many of us wake-up in a warm home, not so for all…

Today promises to be a day when you take your pick if a sports fan … US Open, NFL, crazy season in NASCAR, with many drivers moving around … preparing for next season … and much more.

Some among us are suffering from coronavirus, some really sick. Hear folks say, Oh, most die from something else … granted, but if I have a disease that I have had for years and it hasn’t been fatal, and I then suffer from the virus and die … not sure I understand that line of thinking … but to each his/her own…

Be crazy enough to know you can do anything you want to do.

“Nothing can dim the light that shines from within.” Maya Angelou

“One never goes to far as when one doesn’t know where one is going.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
