Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

I think we need a lovefest in the USA … Look, listen … Dems don’t like the Republicans and vice versa, one race doesn’t like or trust the other, those of us who have been here our whole life are sceptical of newcomers … Does anyone like or love anyone other than themselves, immediate family or those like themselves anymore? May not love or trust them…

Maybe I have seen too much TV lately … Maybe our prayer should be … Lord, we need a double dose of forgiveness … and understanding…

Spent the night attempting to get something out of the attic … I’m not big on heights … but something I desperately needed … and I spent the night attempting to get it down … Again, I don’t like heights, don’t trust 50-plus year old disappearing stairs … Never been so happy to wake, safely in my life … No idea what I was looking for or why it was needed … but lots of people were waiting on me, I had too much pride to ask for help … but I’m worn out … in my dreams.

My guess is others deal with same type issues … probably much better…

So much for me, how about you … how are you dealing with the current climate, I mean political climate? Tired, frustrated, happy, concerned, don’t care???

Well, we can all agree on the weather, it’s been pretty good … Overnite lows in the low 50s, maybe in the upper 40s in some locations … Forecast for today, mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon. Tonight … cloudy, with a low around 57 and calm wind. More of the same tomorrow, but with a 30% chance of rain Thursday night.

A good day to go fishing … if you like to fish … I will give my seat to someone who enjoys…

We are officially into fall 2020 … and it feels good outside … no upper 90s and no freezing temps … Just right…

I enjoy Mark Twain quotes:

“Politicians and diapers must be changed often, and for the same reasons.”

“To succeed in life, you need two things: ignorance and confidence.”

“Civilization is the limitless multiplication of unnecessary necessities.”
