Elizabethtown merchants have bargains galore during their annual Sidewalk Sale Saturday thru Monday, according to the local Chamber of Commerce website.

Latest mailing from the Chamber included the Economic Impact from tourism from 2019. No doubt some lower this year due to the virus. Last year visitors to Bladen spent an estimated $45.26 million, State sales tax receipts totaled $2.72 million and local tax receipts were in the $1.3 million range. Many, most of the visitors are to White Lake … there are others, but White Lake is the ‘biggie’ … when it comes to tourism.
