1. COVID-19 Testing is being offered from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. today at Baltimore Center at 2104 Elwell Ferry Road in Council. CommWell Health is offering a free test. No appointment required. Testing available for all ages. Information: 910-567-7114.
2. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch through 6 a.m. Friday. Rainfall amounts of 3 to 7 inches are possible tonight through Thursday night as moisture well north of Tropical Storm Eta moves across the Carolinas, according to the National Weather Service.
3. The Bladen County Solid Waste transfer station is closed today in observance of Veteran’s Day. Normal operations shall resume Thursday. All convenience centers are closed today as per their normal Wednesday schedule.
