For those who are preparing for a night of spooktacular fun, the following towns have announced trick or treating hours for Tuesday. Some towns have announced designated times for Trick-or-Treating to take place on Tuesday, October 31. 

*In Bladenboro, trick or treating hours are from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Only children 12 years old and under are allowed to trick or treat and must be accompanied by their parents or a responsible adult. Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied to the door. 

 

There will be a curfew in effect for youths between the ages of 13 and 18 years old from 10:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. There will also be curfew in effect for children under the age of 13 beginning at 9:30 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m.

*In Elizabethtown, trick or treating hours are from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Only children 12 years old and under are allowed to trick or treat and must be accompanied by their parents or a responsible adult. Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied to the door. A curfew in effect for youths between the ages of 13 and 18 years old from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m.

*In Clarkton, trick or treating hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. and there will be no curfew. 

*In White Lake, children ages 12 and under will be allowed to go trick-or-treat during the hours of 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult. A curfew will be in effect for all between the ages of 13 and 18 years old after 11 p.m. and until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Mayor Goldston Womble reminded all motorists and pedestrians to exercise extreme caution during the Halloween activities.
