Full Moon Full moons are associated with high energy. This Halloween may be one for the record books since a Full Blue Moon is scheduled to make an appearance.

A full Moon lighting the Halloween sky is a rare occasion which only happens once every 19 years. The fact the Moon will be full for the second time this month makes it a Blue Moon as well. Some may also refer to this full Moon as a Hunter’s Moon. The Native American people would refer to the Hunter’s Moon because the Moon’s light would make it easier for hunting as they prepared for winter.

According to astrologers, on October 31, 2020, the Moon will be fixed next to the “planet of rebellion” Uranus.

The National Weather Service of Wilmington announced today fall conditions are setting in as the Full Moon rises. According to the NWS, the next full Moon will be on Halloween will be in the year 2039.
